starstarstarstarstar  Awesome app! Best Japanese app I’ve ever had
It’s a great app for beginners just taking the first steps as well as more experienced people. I’ve studied for more that a year and this app has clarified many things I might have otherwise never understood. The only complaint I had was that the search option was very limited so I got a japanese dictionary app to compensate because I wanted to search words I had heard but didn’t know that meaning of.the search option needs to be like a dictionary with a database that doesn’t need Internet. That would make this app the best Japanese learning app on the app store.

starstarstarstarstar  Very helpful app!!
Easy to use. Great study tool.

starstarstarstarstar  Thank you
I had the sudden spark to learn Japanese before school and this app helped, it helps you remember, gives you quizzes and examples. It’s absolutely perfect. 5 stars.

Neat! That makes my day. BTW, if you have an iPhone or iPad and you are interested in learning Japanese, this app is free and easy to use. Download it now. It is ad supported, but I guarantee the ads are unobtrusive.

Japanese Dialogues Apps FREE for iPhone and iPad TODAY

TODAY ONLY (well, through November 27) our two Japanese Dialogues apps are absolutely FREE! If you like them, PLEASE LEAVE A REVIEW!

Paul Stevenson from the Australian software development company Dependency and I produced these two great apps a few months ago. We have plans to upgrade them for iPhone 5 screen sizes, quizzes for vocabulary, and other goodies, but sales have been dismal. We’ve heard praises from individuals, but so far, we’ve had zero reviews on iTunes. Would you be willing to help us out by reviewing the apps after using them for a while?

To sweeten the deal, you’ll not only get these two apps absolutely free, but if you email me the text of your review (and the country for your iTunes store), I’ll email you a link to our latest Japanese Reader: うさぎと亀 The Tortoise and the Hare also FREE. This download works with PCs and Macs; includes Kindle & Nook ebooks, PDFs for printing, and MP3s of the story in Japanese read slowly and normal speed. Just email me here.

New Review for Hiragana & Katakana FREE iPhone / iPad App!

Our ad-supported (isn’t too intrusive, really!) Hiragana and Katakana app for the iPhone and iPad is absolutely free. Here is a new testimony that just came in today.

Amazing app for Japanese students! – I found this app to be absolutely perfect for keeping my daily practice routines up for when I’m on the go. It has even taught me a few things, and I’m sure it helps the absolute beginners learn too. My only recommendation is for in the reviews of the chapter lessons. It shows a random character in that chapter (5 per chapter) and puts randomized buttons for multiple choice guessing. It is very helpful, however I would like to see the buttons made a bit larger and spread out because sometimes I mis-tap the wrong answer because they are so small. Another recommendation would also be perhaps having the appMake the sound of the correct kana when you pick the correct romaji to it on the multiple choice. It would be nice for those still learning and like to say the kana as they come. All in all, nice app, and I will definitely recommend this to my friends that are currently learning Japanese. And the best part is that it’s free!
