Let’s 書道! In English AND Kanji

A Lady by the name of 國重友美さん (Kunishige Tomomi) has a very interesting form of kanji art. If you look closely at her kanji, you can see the English meaning spelled out using the alphabet hidden inside the kanji.

Hiragana Times May 2007She has called this style 英漢字 (ええかんじ) mixing 英語 with 漢字. It is probably a play on the 関西弁 (Kansai dialect) for いい感じ or ‘good feeling’.
